I downloaded it, everything worked fine, it can rip to many codecs with plenty of cusomization, it's really great! Then about five CD's in, I open the software and get a prompt saying I've been using a demo (the word 'demo' has not appeared once through my entire use of this software up to this point, even the installer file didn't have demo in the name or anything), and that I could either pay $40 or continue using the free version 'with some features restricted'. Those features being. Ripping CD's. I absolutely despise companies that pull shit like this, doing everything they can to hide the fact that the software isn't actually free so they can pull the rug out from under you and charge you up the ass. So I'd like to hold NCH to their word:) But I'm not sure how.
