Ferullo’s Guns Mod adds guns to Minecraft. A lot of guns. A lot of modern guns. Among them, you will find such celebrities as the AK rifle, M4A1 rifle, M16 rifle, FAMAS rifle, Desert Eagle pistol, Glock 18 pistol, Beretta M9 pistol, MP5K sub-machine gun, Barrett 50. Cal sniper rifle, M249 SAW machine gun, M60 machine gun, Spas-12 shotgun, RPG, Minigun, and much more. The mod also includes sights like the ACOG, Holographic and Red Dot sights, to make your aim even more precise.

The key bindings for the mod are as follows (default bindings): • “R” uses scopes/sights • “F” reloads the current weapon • “C” opens the options for the GUI that the mod also adds (the GUI shows ammo and such) It is a very nice mod, well made and I haven’t encountered any bugs yet (it may collide with other mods though). The RPG is especially cool, as it works like ranged TNT, there’s even a bullet drop system in place, so the rocket won’t just fly straight, it will drop to the ground the more distance it covers. The weapons also has recoil, so they have a better feel than some other weapon mods, you won’t just look straight while firing full auto, your screen will shake and your aim get worse. It adds a bit of much needed kickback.

The mod also adds different armors with different camo patterns (the guns themselves also come in many variations), and some cool night vision goggles that make even the darkest darkness bright as day, making this mod that much better. Most guns that shoot bullets won’t destroy blocks, but will destroy leaves, remove grass and such. Explosive weapons like the SMAW, RPG and grenade launchers will make short work of blocks though, giving you some efficient mining tools as well as deadly killing machines.

Counter Guns is another one of the many mods that came out recently for the Modding Trials event. Much like all the other mods that were made for the event, this one was also created from start to finish within a relatively short time frame of 4 days.

The Counter Guns mod focuses on adding a lot of usable equipment and weapons into the game and the items that it implements have been taken directly from Counter Strike: Global offensive which is, of course, one of the most popular shooter games of today. So basically, if you’re a fan of Counter Strike and want some more items added into Minecraft then this mod will definitely deliver. The Counter Guns mod implements a total of 7 different guns and 4 different grenades from CS: GO into Minecraft. Each gun has its own distinct functionality, and each grenade can be used for a unique purpose so you’ll need to be careful about what you decide to take into battle. The guns can’t really be acquired through normal crafting means, so instead you’ll have to get your hands on them by crafting the GunTable which has a pretty straightforward recipe.

Of course, every weapon requires ammunition, and this is true for the guns of this mod as well. The Counter Guns mod also implements a Magazine Table that, when crafted, will allow you to get all the ammo you need in order to operate your weapons. The mod is fairly smooth overall, but one issue that players reported when it was first released was that the bullets would stop if they ever collided with grass but, fortunately, this problem has been fixed and as of right now there aren’t any noteworthy bugs or glitches in the mod.
